Step 2.
Decide on the type of your event you would like to have. Consider your audience, the reason for gathering and the venue you are thinking of hosting in before deciding. I offer two types of events: Immersive and Social
Immersive Events
Immersive Events are seated affairs with participants fully immersed in a chosen them, region or style of wine. These are great for intimate gatherings at home. We begin with a tailored presentation, followed by a sensory evaluation of each wine and finish with a round-table discussion.
Social Events
Social Events are a more casual, ‘on-your-feet’ approach to wine education. Participants gather around a central location, glass in hand, ready to taste through a progression of wines while learning about region, place and culture in short vignettes. Social events are ideal for business/networking settings.
Step 3.

Tastings begin with a brief rapid-fire presentation on history, geography, climate and soil. Once the stage has been set, I then lead a round-table discussion which includes a sensory evaluation of each wine and information on good service, local food pairings and much more. Tastings run between 90-120 minutes in length. I design booklets and placemats exclusively for your tasting.

Over the years, I learned the success of a class begins with an above-average selection of wines reflecting the best possible expressions from a given area. This not only includes benchmark wineries, but also smaller producers who are doing amazing things in the vineyard and winery. As such, I have included the line-up of wines from previous classes along with pricing to give an idea of what to expect. All wines are subject to change based on availability and my own assessments.
